At Chandler Education Foundation (CEF), we know that strong communities are built through education, collaboration, and compassion. That’s why we’re proud to support Landon’s Legacy Foundation in bringing CPR/AED and Seizure Response Training to Chandler Unified School District (CUSD) staff.
Through this partnership, CEF is funding training sessions to equip key school personnel—including food and nutrition staff, crossing guards, paraeducators, and front office staff—with the skills to respond confidently in emergencies. The first sessions begin this April, with additional trainings scheduled for fall and winter. By the end of the program, up to 250 CUSD staff members will have their two-year certification in CPR/AED.
Landon’s Legacy Foundation was created in memory of Landon D’Aprile and is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities or rare diseases. Since 2024, the foundation has partnered with community organizations to provide life-saving training at no cost, fostering a safer and more inclusive environment.
“Through these initiatives, we are proud to honor Landon's memory while making a meaningful impact on countless lives in our community,” said Mark D’Aprile, co-founder of Landon’s Legacy Foundation.
This collaboration highlights the power of community partnerships to create real change. By supporting this initiative, CEF is helping to ensure that those who interact daily with our students and families are prepared to respond in critical moments.
Together, we can create a safer, more prepared community. If you’d like to support programs like this, consider donating to CEF to help us continue funding critical initiatives that benefit our community.
